A critical dog training tool to discipline or even condition your dog as to what activity the dog is allowed or not allowed to do, is something called a dog leash. By and large, this is meant to be a temporary tool designed to help your dog or puppy come to an understanding of the rules regarding certain behaviors and activities.
Among the extensive varieties of dog leashes available, is one that happens to serve more that one function, from one of basic dog training to a practical leash that also ensures dog safety during outdoor walks. The favorite to most dog owners is the flexi-lead dog leash. This leash allows your puppy or dog to walk measured distances away from you, all the while still being under your total control.
Your dog too of course enjoys that freedom of movement and the fun it allows the dog to explore about, ten or fifteen feet away from you or even longer. This is possible because the flexi dog leash has a mechanical device that allows it to uncoil, and you can stop it by simply pressing a lever. It is in effect called a flexi retractable dog leash.
Of course, a dog leash is indispensable whenever you are outside walking your dog, and in public places more so, such that your dog does not bother other people. In public areas, your dog must be kept on a short leash as a safety measure if anything else. Furthermore, if you enjoy bike riding, a retractable leash is of excellent use as a dog bike leash.
If you have problems with your dog “tearing your arm off” when it is on a leash, then this is the exact leash training, can’t miss video for you.
Start walking your dog with a flexi leash, instead of the dog walking you.
